In an Instagram video that marketed her Fenty Beauty Brand without their permission, the father-daughter musical pair filed a lawsuit claiming that Rihanna used their song “Good Habits (and Bad)”.
They also filed a lawsuit alleging breach of copyright. The duo insists that they have never given permission to use the song to Rihanna or her company and they have also claimed that she must have taken the track from the internet. On the press, Rihanna has not commented yet.
They both have asked the singer not to use the song again and to pay them undisclosed damages. The commercial, the lawsuit claims, was viewed 3.4 million times.
Currently, the global pop star spends her holidays in Barbados, where she recently shocked her fan at a gas station.
